Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dankook University in Seoul, Korea, with over 24 years of professional experience in the display and semiconductor industries. Peter Kang has a robust background in scientific research, business development, local networking, and collaborations with companies and universities. His extensive experience includes roles at Merck Performance Materials, LG Innotek, and Fineoptics.

Peter has a solid understanding of display technologies, including LED, OLED, and flexible electronics, as well as semiconductor materials. He has been deeply involved in market strategy, sales, and technical support, leading to significant achievements in these sectors.

Semiconductor Equipment Company.:

 As a Business Development Manager and Project Manager, Peter initiated and successfully completed joint development projects (JDPs) with key customers in Korea, established and managed the legal entity for SemEC in Korea, and expanded business opportunities with major clients such as SEC and SK Hynix.

Independent JDP Contractor / Aveni:

Managed joint development projects (JDP) for advanced metallization processes.

Merck Performance Materials Co. Ltd :

As the East-Asia BDM Regional Manager for the LED Division, Peter exceeded sales targets for phosphor and photoresist materials and initiated and managed quantum materials projects with major clients such as Samsung and LG.

LG Innotek Inc. :

As Senior Sales & Marketing Manager for High Power LED solutions, Peter expanded high-power product lines and managed global sales strategies. He also served as Senior Sales Manager for Emerging Markets and China.

Future Electronics Inc. :

As Key Account Manager for Cypress and Philips Lumileds devices, Peter drove sales strategies for touch sensor and LED technologies.

Fineoptics Co. Ltd :

Peter developed MEMS processes for optical patterning and managed national projects for LCD display technologies.
